Leigh still has not found the key to sleeping through the night after a 2-year stint as executive producer at a 24-hour TV news channel, so she spends her time trying out various hotel beds around the world to find the answer. Despite her tendency to acquire tropical and gastrointestinal diseases, Laurel lives to travel and when she’s not freelancing, she can be found in various developing nations indulging her street food obsession.
